An award winning performance in “Children of a Lesser God” Christy Smith, former contestant on the network television series CBS Survivor 6: The Amazon, has successfully leveraged her universal appeal with a growing roster of fee paid public appearances and speaking engagements to mainstream America – hearing and deaf as well as adult and youth audiences Together With Pride Foundation, Inc. is to support and create programs for hearing impaired children that focus on the importance of education and the learning of life skills along with promoting a positive self esteem. An award-winning actress on stage and in movies, Michelle Banks is the founder and artistic director of Onyx Theatre, Inc. She was born in Walnut Creek, California into a Jewish and deaf family and her first language is the American Sign Language. She is also able to read lips and speak English without an interpreter. Shoshannah has appeared on television shows such as ABC's Threat Matrix and Showtime's Weeds, in addition to appearing with Matthew Broderick in The Last Shot. He broke into TV with a role on NBC's "A Different World." He made 14 tapes as host of "Happy Hands Kids Club." He made his first stage debut at Deaf West Theatre and acted and directed plays at the California School for the Deaf in Frfemont.
